The new spiritual leader of 1.2 million Catholics was born in 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio. He grew up in Pittsburgh where he was ordained a priest in 1977. Prior to coming to Houston, he was bishop of Sioux City. It's with joy that we welcome him and offer best wishes for many years of stewardship.
